ETS 250, Wave soldering system

ERSA ETS 250 - The compact wave soldering system

The ERSA ETS 250 is a small and compact wave soldering system suitable for the industrial fabrication of small to medium volume series-production. On account of the small initial investment and the low hourly operating cost, this proven and reliable system has a very short pay back period.

All components are designed to operate well with low-solid content fluxes. The basic system comes with a foam fluxer. In addition to the standard foam fluxer, an optional spray fluxer is available which, depending on the program selected, will automatically reset to the spray width pre-programmed.

The temperature of the preheat unit is monitored and controlled. In addition, the optional “stop function”, permitting to program a dwell time over the preheater, enables the user to vary the time of the board over the preheater, thereby providing additional flexibility.

The service-friendly stainless steel solder module is available as single wave or SMD version with double wave, whereas the SMD wave can be retrofitted. Being speed-controlled the solder pumps guarantee reproducibility as well as a very consistent wave.

The intuitive operation of the touch panel facilitates the generation of programs by the operator.
Up to 99 individual programs can be stored, so that batch-size-one production is possible without any time loss due to set-up or change-over. The program language is either German, English or French, and it can be switched from one to another while the system is running.

Networking through a company wide net is optionally available, and, once activated, it allows for the remote monitoring and programming of the system.
The status of all aggregates such as preheating temperature, wave speed, solder temperature etc. are displayed as clear text.

Set values can be easily entered and read. Therefore comfortable operation is provided as well as fast modification of the parameters. Tolerance windows are freely programmable for all important parameters, thus optimum process reliability is achieved.
By utilizing the integrated 7-day time clock the amount of operation is reduced to a minimum.
